I am a Mexican living in Australia, finding and reading your entry about Mexico made my day. I even have to confess that I shed a tear or two, in the part where you describe your experiences with a Mexican Family at Memo's home, and with the kids at school in "el dia del niƱo", maybe cause that's what I miss the most about Mexico, its people and that warmth that you describe so well. The affectionate kids reminded me at my own daughters, and made me see how that has change in them :( with time.
We love Australia, and our life here, but every once and a while I come across something like this, and I can feel the homesickness take hold of me.
I love what you guys are doing!! Keep enjoying!
MireyaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14947636842272651597noreply@blogger.com
